OJSC PAVA is one of the market leaders in Russian wheat grain processing sector. It is among three largest flour milling companies in Russia, accounting for a 3% share in the overall national production of flour.
Under its own trademarks of ‘Altay-Batyushka’ and ‘PAVA’, the company manufactures and sells a wide range of agricultural products such as wheat flour, cereals, feed mixes and bran. The company’s total annual production capacity is over 360,000 MT of wheat flour, about 80,000 MT of bran and 15,000 MT of feed mixes.
PAVA has a wide sales geography: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenia, Kyrgizstan, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Thailand and others.
Consumer quality of the flour has been recognized with multiple awards of prestigious exhibitions and fairs, both in Russia and overseas. According to 2007 results, PAVA became the leading exporter of the Russian flour milling industry, having shipped 17% of the total national flour exports. In 2008 PAVA earned the status of the most rapidly developing exporter from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
It is estimated that the company is currently processing over 10% of wheat grown in the Altay Territory.
Production lines of the company’s milling plants are equipped with machinery made under the license of the Swiss company “Buhler”. The production process is fully automatic. |
